The Argentine government, through the Directorate for Cultural Affairs of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, announces the 2023 call for "Programa SUR", the translation support program, aimed at promoting the dissemination of Argentine thinking and literature around the world through translation subsidies of literary works by Argentine authors published in Spanish into any required language.

This commitment, assumed as a permanent State policy, made it possible to translate 1,472 literary works by Argentine authors since 2009, published in 51 countries and 49 languages.

Applications submission period until 30 September 2023.
